We found a couple of interesting photos. The first is the 1899 graduating class from “Shawano High School.” The second photo is the 50th anniversary reunion from 1949.
In 1899, high school classes were held in the top floor of Lincoln School on Sawyer Street in Shawano. This graduating class didn’t attend classes in the Lincoln School building on the site today, they attended classes in the second Lincoln School building on Sawyer St. A photo of the building is attached.
Just like today, these students attended school, graduated, and held class reunions.
