Here are the Rhubarb Fest Pie Contest Results….
Fifteen delicious pies were entered in this year’s Rhubarb Fest Pie Contest.
Our panel of judges—Jerry Anderson, Terri Dallas, and Travis Lubinski—evaluated each entry in four categories: Presentation, Crust, Filling, and Taste. Each category was scored from 1 to 10 by each judge, allowing a maximum of 40 points per judge and a total possible score of 120 points per pie.
We’re proud to announce that all three top winners hail from Shawano:
🥇 1st Place – Wendy Darm – 98 points
🥈 2nd Place – Rose Salzmann – 92 points
🥉 3rd Place – Cathie Sunday – 88 points
Kitchen-themed prizes were purchased locally and presented to the winners by Bonnie Splitt.
