Yesterday and today at the intersection of Green Bay and Cecil Streets
Bonduel, WI
Take a look at this 1917 photo at this important intersection in Bonduel. The photo is taken looking SE….notice the “traffic light” in the middle of the intersection. Note also the heavy wagon traffic which brought residents into the village for Rally Day. Photo provided by Lucille Folkman.
The Spengler’s Mercantile Building on the left still exists today as well as the building where Wayne’s Place calls home on the south side of Green Bay Street. However, the building on the SE corner, which was Wieman’s Bakery at one time, was demolished to widen the intersection.
