Did you know, the Shawano High School boys basketball team won state in 1938?

The Shawano high school basketball team jubilantly returned to Shawano with the state Class B basketball championship, won from Beaver Dam in a thrilling game last night, 33-30.
Over 400 people, from Shawano attended the Madison game. The win came as a climax to a long series of victories during the year, in which the team won the conference and district championships, with a total of 20 victories.
