Shawano Marble, Granite, and Stone Works
Over 100 years ago, if you needed a grave stone, you went to Shawano Marble, Granite, and Stone Works. Woodlawn Cemetery is filled with headstones like those shown in the photo.
We have very little information on this business but a 1913 Sanborn Fire Insurance map shows a stone cutting business on Shawano’s north Main Street where the parking lot of Total Fitness is located.
