Shawano Volunteer Fire Department
Although we have no date for this photo, it shows the Shawano Volunteer Fire Department in their uniforms, standing around their newly purchased fire truck.
Standing in front are (left to right), Herman Giese, Frank Dodge, F. Jansen, Jake Frank, Karl Lueke, William Huebner, Ben Kuhn, and Charles Klebesadel. In back of the truck are George Redman, Oliver Raasch, F. Waelchli, and E. Page.
The photo was taken in front of the Shawano Electric Power and Pump Station, which was located on the Southeast corner of 5th Street and Sawyer Street.
